The realm of Skara is failing, and its people, the Feara, have lost their way.

In a land of swords and sorcery, Hale Gildeen is a master of neither. Drunk as often as not, the disinherited nobleman was never anyone's idea of a hero; but when he is enlisted to help rescue three peasant girls from a witch, he uncovers a secret that could reverse the fortunes of a dying kingdom.

Meanwhile, a sinister power rises at the fringes of the known world, threatening to overrun humanity, and the Feara stand in its way. Together with a young queen and an elf ranger, Hale must use his unconventional talents to pull his people together in time to face the coming tide of destruction.

This epic adventure series is set in a high fantasy world of wizards and knights, dragons and trolls, and armies and gods of good and evil battling for supremacy.
